Taking My Chances

I'm taking my chances, chances, chances.

I'm taking my, taking my chances, chances, chances.

Taking my, taking my...

I must be sleeping horribly,

things are stirring up my dreams at night.

I looked a lot like me,

but now I'm not so certain.

This day is somewhat ordinary,

whistling happy canary.

Why, everything is tidy, neat and tidy.

I woke craving another cigarette,

though I haven't started smoking yet.

I put my hair up, and I

threw open the curtains.

I'm taking my chances, chances, chances.

I'm taking my, taking my chances, chances, chances.

Taking my, taking my...

The guns are napping in the bag.

It's too bad I never had an aim.

It's about an attitude,

it's about the way you make 'em think.

Not like I want the press,

not like I am depressed,

I'm just bored, I guess.

I like to keep it moving.

I'm taking my chances, chances, chances.

I'm taking my, taking my chances, chances, chances.

Taking my, taking my...

I want to buy some real estate,

invest in something with a shiny name,

a home tucked inside a lake,

business with some real table length.

Just put it in the bag, while I battle with a deeper voice.

Resent its decency, resent it makin' me think twice.

Not like I want the press,

not like I am depressed,

I'm just bored, I guess.

I like to keep it moving, cause I love it when it's moving, and...

I'm taking my chances, chances, chances.

I'm taking my, taking my chances, chances, chances.

Taking my, taking my...

Chances, chances, chances.  (No, I don't want the press. No, I don't want the press. Not like I am depressed.)

Taking my, taking my. (I like to keep it moving.)

Chances, chances, chances. (It's about an attitude, about an attitude, about an attitude.)

I'm taking my, taking my...
